MID Removal Process
Tools needed:
Remove the volume knob by pulling it off.
There is a tiny Torx screw at six o'clock position.
use a Torx T8 screw driver and turn
counter-clock wise about 90 degrees. Grab the knob spline and pull forward at the
same time to remove the unit from the dash.
Disonnect the wiring harness by pressing the
lock button while...
Sliding the lever to the open position
When flat pull the connector out to disconnect
the wiring harness
